Two hours before the vows
On wedding morning, the bride’s sister has a job: stand beside her at the altar. She has also given herself a second job, which is to win the groom over before he says “I do”. The clock gives her two hours.
The bride, meanwhile, is busy dressing behind a bedroom door and cannot come out, because tradition says a groom must not see the bride before the ceremony. So the sister has the groom, the hallway and a closed door between them and the bride. Candy credits Mila Nowak in the cast and lists five episodes. The Maid of Honor is the kind of series where the title alone tells you who is scheming and who is about to be tempted.
A countdown story
The appeal here is pace, and a very short fuse. Everything happens inside one wedding morning, with whispered conversations, quick exits and the constant risk that the bedroom door opens at the worst moment. If you like stories that run on a deadline, The Maid of Honor is built for you. Wedding-day nerves, a hushed hallway and a door that has to stay closed do a lot of the heavy lifting.
Heat-wise, it is a standard Candy Shorts series: suggestive and tense in the free episodes, bolder in the paid ones. Every character is an adult.
