The Nuns Took Me In is a five-episode series on Candy Shorts, the short-series section of Candy AI, filed under the Taboo category. Episodes 1 and 2 are free with a free Candy account.
The premise fits in a sentence. A storm sends you looking for shelter, and the only open door belongs to a remote chapel. Inside, two nuns who have not seen a man in years offer a welcome that is a good deal less pious than the setting suggests.
Setup and tone
Candy’s cast list names Darkangel666. Everyone in the chapel is an adult, as on every Candy Shorts series. The appeal is the contrast: a quiet, devout place, a bad night outside and two women whose rules turn out to be very flexible.
The storm does the job of keeping you in the room, and the title tells you the rest. The premise points to a playful tone, with a cheeky wink at the religious setting rather than a heavy mood. Spoilers end at the premise, so you will have to open the door yourself.
