Kate jokes that her husband would never use a hall pass. Her mother, Margot, does not laugh. My Mother-In-Law Wants To Be My Hall Pass is new on Candy Shorts.
It starts at a family dinner. Kate announces she trusts her husband so completely that she would hand him a hall pass, because he would never use it. Everyone laughs except her mother, Margot, who catches Dan alone in the kitchen soon after with an idea of her own.
That is the whole engine of My Mother-In-Law Wants To Be My Hall Pass: one careless line, one very interested mother-in-law, and a husband who has to find out how loyal he really is. Candy’s cast list shows Margot Vey, and the series carries a New badge in the library.
Who is who
Dan is the husband everyone assumes is harmless.
Kate made the joke that set it off.
Margot is Kate’s mother, and she takes the joke more seriously than anyone.
What kind of heat is this?
A standard Candy Shorts series with a family-drama twist: awkward dinners, a kitchen that is no longer neutral ground, and a mother-in-law who plays a long game. The early episodes stay suggestive and the paid ones get bolder. Everyone in the story is an adult.
