Dinner is off, the evening is not
Nina’s dinner plans with her husband fall apart when he cancels at the last minute. That leaves her alone at home with his adult son, in a mood somewhere between disappointed and dangerous. She decides the best answer to being stood up is to even the score.
Date With My Stepmom runs five episodes on Candy Shorts. Candy lists no named cast for this one and no tags, so the title and the premise carry the whole pitch, and they do it in one line.
What the setup promises
The engine here is revenge, with the stepmom firmly in charge of the plan. It is a short, focused story about one evening that gets away from everyone, with a single location and very few places to hide, which makes it an easy first pick if you do not want a long setup. If you like confident, slightly vengeful leads, you are in the right place.
It is a standard series, so the free episodes stay suggestive and the bolder moments sit in the paid ones. Every character is an adult. For a stepmom story with a digital-twin star, look at My Stepmom’s Weekend.
