A room that is too cheap
My Roommates Made a Bet begins with a bargain that is too good to be true. A man with no money finds a room for rent at a price that seems wrong, takes it, and moves in with two glamorous roommates. What he does not know is that they have a private wager on which of them wins him first. Candy also hints that there is a catch behind the whole arrangement.
The series carries the Nympho tag and lists five episodes. The cast is not named. All characters are adults.
Not to be confused with
There is another roommate series, My Roommates Are Thirsty, with a different cast and a more direct premise. In this one, the wager is the point: a secret game among the roommates, with the new tenant as the prize.
Why the twist matters
Because Candy hints that the bet is not the full story, the series has a built-in mystery. Why is the room so cheap, and are the roommates telling each other the truth? It adds a little suspense to what could otherwise be a straight rivalry.
Two people who share a bet are also competing, so they can undercut and impress each other at the same time while the new roommate sits in the middle.
