The org chart is complicated
Her Stepmom Is the Boss starts with a favor. His girlfriend pulls strings to get him hired, and the job puts him under her glamorous stepmom, who turns out to run the whole floor. She also has other plans for the new hire, and none of them are on the job description.
Candy files it under Stepmom and lists Margot Vey in the cast. If the name sounds familiar, the same cast name appears on Couples Therapy With Margot Vey, another story about a woman who takes charge.
Office politics, forbidden edition
The premise stacks the stakes neatly. His boss is also his girlfriend’s family, so every meeting carries two risks: losing the job and losing the relationship. That makes the first episodes a study in subtext, with meaningful pauses and a stepmom who is used to being obeyed.
It is a standard series. The free episodes stay suggestive and corporate-flirty, the paid ones get bolder, and the members-only Spicy tier is a separate section. Every character is an adult.
What does it cost to keep watching?
Candy lists five episodes. The first two are free with a free Candy account, so “her stepmom is the boss free” has an honest answer: two episodes. Episodes 3 to 5 need Premium, or 12 tokens each.
These are late October 2026 prices. They can change, and the final price is the one on Candy’s checkout.
Only on Candy Shorts
The series is part of Candy Shorts, inside Candy AI, and you will not find the episodes anywhere else. Subtitles come in seven languages, and the player’s speed runs from 0.5x to 2x for anyone who likes to skim the slow scenes.
