A summer in Kent with an old-money British family, a stepbrother and a crush that runs hot and cold. British Summer with my Stepbro runs five episodes on Candy Shorts.
Mona and her stepbrother spend the summer with a proper old-money British family in Kent. Her crush on him swings between hot and cold, and a perfectly ordered household turns into a place where tension and chaos keep colliding.
Candy tags the series Stepsister and Taboo, lists five episodes and shows Mona Newman in the cast list.
What the setting adds
A house built on good manners is a fun place to hide a crush. The contrast between polite surfaces and what is going on underneath is the series’ pitch, and the Kent backdrop sets it apart from the usual suburban or hotel settings.
The hot-and-cold detail matters too. Instead of a crush that goes in one direction, you get one that advances and retreats, which gives five episodes more rhythm than a simple chase. A single summer in one house also gives the story a clear clock and a limited number of places to hide.
How steamy?
This is a standard series: the free episodes lean on glances, banter and a crush that will not behave, with the bolder moments in the paid ones. Every character is an adult.

Episodes 1 and 2 are free with a free Candy account. For episode 3 onward you can subscribe to Premium or unlock single episodes with tokens, currently 12 each. These prices are a snapshot, so check Candy’s checkout for the final figure.
